about

and freedom, too...

track: 56

recorded: 20170114

duration: 4:17

type: improv: active "harmoniser" guitar - live solo performances (2)

a feature-length (well, song length anyway!) creation using two tracks featuring an H9 distortion sound with wah-wah, which is of course controlled via expression pedal. this particular classic rock guitar sound inspired me to play some sort of Jimi Hendrix-line guitar riffs, but oddly, containing a solo that is far more Fripp than Hendrix. But still, the overall mood of the piece is "hard rock", including riffs, solos and just jamming, really - a huge amount of fun - the works. I could hear two or three possible songs coming out of these improvised ideas - so you never know where a track like this might lead. This one if for you. Jimi, wherever you are.
