an experiment to see if I could arrange a piece of folk music, using virtual acoustic guitars and basses. I think it's a pretty good attempt - the solo in the middle could be more perfect, but it's not bad considering that these are tiny guitars "played" on a tiny iPhone screen - it's not easy to be in perfect time in that performance environment. but - I worked on it, and I did do quite a bit of editing too, to try to improve things - and I think the end result is pleasant if nothing else. it shows me that when I get to work with my new acoustic guitar samples in native instruments, that a lot can be achieved, so I am learning something new at least. all hail the acoustic lead solo - a passion of mine ever since I heard George Harrison take that amazing nylon solo on "And I Love Her" - I thought at the time, that it was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard.
