dense, tense, pounding bass, this really is a lot like what I would imagine it sounds like deep inside the heart – relentless, never-ending, a constant, steady beat, but with complex rhythms…”the overstated ecstatic beating of my heart” is just that.

this song demonstrates the excitement you feel when you know you are about to re-unite with your partner after a long day at work, how happy that makes you feel, how closely you hold that person to your heart – and the rhythm just goes on and on and on until eventually, you find yourself in their arms at long, long last.

I cannot really say what genre this track belongs to: it’s not prog, it’s not rock, it’s not jazz, it’s not ambient – if anything, it’s frantic, anxious electronica – so I guess, call it electronica if you must give it a genre at all. it is a unique track within my mixtikl catalogue, and I feel it’s important because it is unlike anything I have done so far with the application – it’s truly unique.
