at this point, we are taking a short break from our chronology - at this particular break point, which actually falls quite neatly between the end of April, 2017 and the beginning of May, 2017 - to go back, back into the mists of time - and finally hear the tracks that started it all - my original garage band demos from 2015 to start, plus a few others that got lost along the way. so - tracks 30 through 36 represent these "lost works" and with track 37, we will resume the regular chronology - so track 37 will set up squarely back at the very beginning of May, 2017 - following on from track 29, the last track from April, 2017.

hopefully, this short break will not be too intrusive, and we can enjoy some very different types of music that I was working on in my earliest attempts to work with garage band - and then, back to our regular programming from track 37 onwards...

we begin with a lovely "strings only" mix of an unreleased, actually untitled piece which I have simply called "string section in g major". this was originally, an ambitious attempt at a track containing drums, strings, piano and bass, but it was left unfinished. some of the component parts, most notably the string section itself, and, the piano track, were simply too good to leave behind - so here is part of an unfinished demo - the strings from string section in g major. I find this piece to be very relaxing and lovely - really deeply satisfying. a nice way to start our short retrospective chronology "break"....
