after the somewhat more ambient tones of the last track, "stained glass III", this final piece from the may 7th, 2014 set is by way of contrast, quite active, it starts out strong and stays that way pretty much all the way through.

as with everything, though, there are still surprises - for example, at one point, the sound starts to fade away, it sounds as if the music is stopping - and just when you begin to wonder - wham, another wave of heavy sound is pouring from the speakers (or the headphones). I like this piece a lot, it's just what it is - powerful, interesting app-generated music. these four pieces were an absolute delight to create, and I hope to do a lot more work with the VOSIS application very soon indeed. six stars!
