dark ambient, deep, droning ambient, this is the sound of obsidian pad, and if that glassy, black, hard rock had a sound - this would be it. a unique and wonderful patch, that I could literally just work with for hours on end - it is endlessly fascinating: the sound moves from very thin to very dense and then back again, hum and noise are as much music as notes are...and a unique sonic vocabulary makes this particular patch really stand apart.

it's quiet, mostly, unassuming, but also determined, and sometimes, a truly musical and beautiful moment will arrive, amongst the slogging drones, and surprise me - even though the sound is, on the surface, sombre, almost sad, it leaves me feeling uplifted, like the best church music or some kind of cosmic quadruple keyboard organ from outer space - a unique and wonderful drone made with a wonderful patch from the tc-11 - another great sounding preset!
