In an almost identical manner to the way I deconstructed the active track “codachord chromosone” to create the ambient track “encoded deep within”, you will recognise the string section that I have literally just plucked from the centre of “I really want to see you / really want to see you”, one pair of stereo clean violins; one pair of stereo distorted violin, and, I believe, a single nominally mono clean violin that is travelling across the stereo field through the good auspices of the mixtikl autopan effect.

that’s it – five violins, two stereo pairs, one clean, one dirty, and one wandering clean violin. this was really almost entirely accidental, I happened to mute the rhythm section of the original song, so I could hear the strings on their own - and, hearing the strings on their own, the idea to create this deconstructed, strings-only version of the original loop arrived – and here it is, the musical engine behind the original track, laid bare.
