this is my very, very first mixikl piece, and I am extraordinarily proud of it – using just four elements, I’ve managed to create, while not really having any idea how the app worked or what I was doing, a really lovely ambient piece, with a wonderful, droning, dark ambient feel about it.

it sounds like that moment just before you awaken; where you are “almost waking” – you are not quite sure if you are asleep or awake, and you are drifting perhaps, between the two states – this track sounds like that!

the fact that I was able to create an ambient piece that is this good, without really understanding the application, really indicates to me just how capable mixtikl is – and how dangerous it would become once I started to truly understand how to build generative tracks using it – an amazing, limitless tool for creating the most beautiful, endlessly changing, ever-shifting, generative music imaginable.
