for "aegir at aphelion", the third musical outing from this session, I decided to continue with the same pair of identical patches, so again, I am running "whisped stretchy" on both iPads, and continuing the search for that perfect semi-ambient, atmosphere that I love to stumble across - occasionally.

sometimes you are fortunate, and things work out beautifully - touch-controlled synthesis is an inexact science, but I have found that if you treat it (the TC-11, or any touch-controlled synth for that matter!) as if it is a normal keyboard, that you can get some very repeatable sounds out of it - and some of the best parts of some of these pieces, is where I "hold" a pattern and just let it play - it can be very strange, and / or, very beautiful - the TC-11 is a fantastic synth and one of my favourite music applications of all time.
