dave second release of 2006, this is a return to full-on progressive rock, a single track that nods to todd rundgren's utopia, van der graaf generator, and who knows whatever else prog influences - a track created just for the joy of playing bass, guitar, drums and keys in the prog format.

there were no liner notes on the original CD.

the more observant will have noticed that the title of this single is not only a terribly pun, but is also an homage to a little-known track by a very well known group, creedence clearwater revival - a favourite track of mine since I was a young person, taken from the "green river" album - the track "sinister purpose". :-)
