I'm starting to gain some confidence here, learning how to control VOSIS with more confidence, and over the next three takes, my ability to control the results, the output, gets as good as it will probably ever get.
I learn that when you bring your three fingers very, very close together, in a very, very tight formation - that often, the result is nearly a pure sine wave, so I might be moving my fingers in a broad pattern, and getting dark, deep, ambient sounds, but if I draw then together, the bass drops away, and I get a pure, pure and incredibly beautiful tone - sine wave heaven.
I utilised the same black and white rendering of a highly contrasting coloured stain glass (you can see it in the track images) for all four recordings, the app automatically renders all images or video into black and white for you, because the app only works with black and white images. so when I load my beautifully coloured stained glass photograph, the app changes it to shades of black, grey, and white - but, it's still beautiful; it still has high contrast, and it works well as an image source for these pieces.
I can't believe how fortunate I was that day, I recorded four long pieces, and every one of them came out well - I could not be more pleased with the VOSIS app, and I look forward to making lots and lots of interesting music using it, with various imagery as input.
