another beautiful sound out of the box, and another, very similar in style and feel, improv - which was actually an unused overdub from the "otherworld" session, I loved the atmospheric feel of this sound, which is called "ocean depths", and I love the wonderful thump of the keys which contrasts so beautifully with the very thin and high pitched tone of the patch itself - that keyclick into the reverb, with the tinkling notes above it - works wonderfully - and this take is quite a bit more abstract - less standardised, more stylised - I don't know.

but "netherworld" took me to a place that I really liked, a very lost in space, floating in space, floating on the ocean feeling, maybe with the depth of the whole ocean beneath you - but you floating safely above. this piece almost seemed to come from another world, the pulsing in this patch is extremely mellow, so it's almost a "normal" synth sound, but I don't mind that, not all of the patches are super "pulse-y" - and I am glad of that. I think that the two sounds I chose for my first two improvs made with "signal", worked out very well indeed...
